Valvecare Engineering engineers have
the experience to identify problems and provide solutions for poor
performance, repeat failures, or outdated technology. This can include
upgrade and retrofit designs or changing key components to enhance
individual valve performance. Our valve engineers can verify the
suitability of a valve to suit specific flow conditions or service
with regard to the effects of noise, flashing, cavitations, erosion,
or corrosion. |

As part of our Valve Management
Services we can also make recommendations as to possible changes
that could be carried out to reduce negative effects and increase
the life of the valve. Due consideration is given to the other components
and materials in the valve assembly. Suggestions may include:
- changing the control or failure mode of a valve
- altering the flow direction and flow characteristic to contend
with changes in process and flow conditions.
- modifying valves from manual to actuated or automatic control
and vice versa
- changing seat design from soft to metal to metal
- changing soft trim items
